Convert ~ the unit calculator App Reviews

I love this app, I use it mostly as a calculator on my iphone and it comes in handy if I need to convert measurements or currency. It would be great if this became a universal app, as the ipad (for some stupid reason) lacks a calculator.

Living in Canada and working as an architect means that I have to convert between all forms of units every day. This app makes that so easy! I love that you can divide an amount in one form of unit and have it be updated as another in real time. I only wish that this app were updated for iOS 4 with real multitasking and fast app switching as it takes about 3 seconds to pop to and from.

Still the best app of its kind, but for such a nice interface, it sure has an ugly icon! More importantly, where is fast app switching support? Retina display compatibility?

Update: still missing unit types. Not a single update in last two years. This guys are simply not listening. Waste of money. Any unit conversion app is useless is it does not support all common unit types. This application is missing unit types such as density, flow, torque etc. Which makes it difficult to use for students, engineers or science professionals. Also unit types are difficult to find atleast for me. An optional button view showing units instead of scroll to find may be added. Inspite of many good features of this app, i must say there are better app available at lower price. At this price point, higher expectations are obvious. Will change rating to 5 if this app is complete.

Use full for math class and just handy

Needs MPA in pressure conversions please! Covers most convention tables and is fat to navigate

This is one of my most used apps. It is missing kPa and inches water column, but other than that, it rocks!

Overdue for major update: units,retina, fast switch, minor ui changes... Hope they update it soon...

oh man this app needs to be updated bad... think the developers are slaking bad.

This is a good app dont get me wrong, it does what its supposed to on the iPhone but could use some updating. It hasnt been updated since 2009, thats long before the iPhone 4 and iPad came out. This app needs retina display graphics for the iPhone and iPad support along with retina graphics for the 3rd gen iPad. Come on guys you charge $3 for this, and made a good app, show some pride in your work and keep it current, then youll get 5 stars.

Looks like absolute garbage, for the love of god please update the graphics to retina display. It is the only app I have that has not been updated. Very lazy developer. Clearly have no pride in their work. Plenty of other converting apps out there, time to move on.

Come on now. How ridiculous is this? Not a single update since retina display was introduced? It works great but the graphics are horrible. Cant believe you care so little about your product you wont even keep it current. Guess this was a "get in and get out" kinda developer. Shame.

The app hasnt been updated since iOS 3 - 3 years ago. Unfortunately this is all too common. How about an update to support the following: Multi-tasking Retina graphics (app icon, unit icons and button/UI graphics) Taller screen of iPhone 5. Those are all the super-easy updates. If you want to be adventuresome, provide a unit editor to let customers add their own custom unit so that we can put an end to all the whining that the app is missing this and that esoteric unit.

Please update for iOS 6 and iPhone 5.

This is a 5 star app that has been neglected. The developer makes Camera+, one of the top apps in the store, yet they dont bother to update this one. Love the app, but the developers just need to give it some love! 3 years since an update?
